Is this a wedding or a reception?

This is not a traditional wedding. We will have gotten married earlier in the morning in an intimate ceremony, and now we're ready to celebrate. This event is more of a reception/dance party.

Where is it and How do we get there 

 

The venue (Warehouse on Watts, 923 N Watts St, Philadelphia, PA 19123) is very transit accessible, it's right on the Broad Street Line (Subway). Both subways and buses in Philly have tap to pay, so you do not have to get a separate app or ticket to use them. Tap your credit card or phone on the terminal at the bus entrance or before getting down tot the subway stop. Uber and Lyft also operate everywhere in Philly. If you drive in, there is limited street parking around the venue, but make sure to check the signs to make sure it's not timed or metered parking. 

 

will there be food?

 

There will not be a full meal served, but there will be snacks, desserts, and an open bar from 8-11PM. We highly recommend getting dinner beforehand. If you need restaurant recommendations, check out the "Lodging & Restaurants" section.

Do I get a plus one?

 

This will be indicated when you RSVP. They must be over 21, as our venue is 21+.

What should I wear? 

 

Dress to impress! Suits and any-length dresses are great, as long as you can dance in them. We also want everyone to have fun with it, so think funky! If there's a piece you've been wanting to wear but haven't found the right occasion, now is the time.

What's the timeline of events? 

 

Here is a full breakdown. The reception starts at 8, we mix, we mingle. We will re-read our vows around 9, have our first dance, and start the party. We will have an open bar from 8-11, after that it turns into a cash bar. We will also have a professional portrait booth. We will wrap up at 1AM. There will be no after-party, as we just partied for 5 hours.
